Campaign types

Every campaign does the same job: one message, filled in from your list, sent to the people on that list. The type changes the timing, and in one case it changes who owns the reply.

The campaign list filters by type, status, who created it, when it was made, which subscriber list it used, and by results: sent, delivered, responses, stops.

Single blast

You upload the list, write the message, and send. Each contact gets their own filled-in copy. How long the send takes depends on how many messages are in the file, and on the throughput on the 10DLC campaign.

Burst

A burst is that same send, spread over more than one day. You set the number of days, the time of day, and whether Saturday and Sunday are included. Entrance divides the list across those days and sends at that time. Weekend checkboxes decide if those days are used.

Scheduled

A scheduled campaign is a single blast held for a date and time you pick. Send confirms the schedule. It does not send immediately.

Where the workspace allows it, one action can reach every subscriber list, and that action can be scheduled. Archived contacts are left out.

Personal

A personal campaign sends like a single blast. The difference is the reply. Responses come back assigned to the person who sent the campaign, instead of waiting in the shared claims queue for anyone to take.

The message

Any of these can use the columns in the uploaded sheet. A column title in braces, {Name}, is replaced for each row before the message is sent, and before the segment count is calculated.

Sending the first one is the order of operations. How the sheet should look is the other prerequisite.
