How billing works
You pay for segments sent. A text is one segment when it fits, and more than one when length or encoding says so. That calculation is its own note. The count runs after variables are filled in.
Volume for the month picks the tier. Every segment that month is billed at that tier’s rate, plus the account fee.
| Monthly segments | Tier | Rate | Account fee |
|---|---|---|---|
| Under 250,000 | Basic | 1.85¢ | $199 |
| Under 500,000 | Plus | 1.65¢ | $349 |
| Under 1,000,000 | Pro | 1.45¢ | $499 |
| 1,000,000 and up | Premier | 1.25¢ | $750 |
Twenty thousand segments lands on Basic: 20,000 × 1.85¢ is $370 of usage, plus the $199 account fee. The pricing page estimates any other volume the same way.
The bill is on the first of the month. The account fee is billed with usage. Setup is included.
Numbers are ordered in Manage Numbers at $1 a month. They are not part of the segment estimate.
Carrier fees are included in the segment rate. There is no separate carrier line and no hidden fee on top of the tier. A question about a charge on a statement goes to support@entrancegrp.com.
